A more traditional style of illustration featuring goalkeeping legend John Burridge. ‘Budgie’ was a one off, a man who did things his own way! He was considered mad as a hatter because he would wear his gloves to bed amongst other things! But he was ahead of his time in terms of training, nutrition, gloves & lifestyle – all of which are common place in today’s game. He played for 29 different clubs during a 30 year career, playing an incredible 768 league games.
